We’re looking for a Localization Specialist to support overall localization efforts to support clients in their goal to penetrate the Arabic market. Responsibilities • Support localization requirements such as translation and review of material developed for the Arabic market. • Marketing research of trends, market standards, best practices. • Analyze competitors’ practices and make recommendations accordingly. • Manage social media accounts and review local user’s feedback to make recommendations and improvement suggestions to the cross-functional teams of designers and developers. • Collaborate with local recognized key opinion leaders and creators to create partnerships to help increase client’s exposure to the Arabic market. • Support on onsite business trips. Desired Experience and Skills • Eligible for a Chinese work visa (university degree, verifiable experience, medical examination) • Arabic Native Speaker • Advanced English and Chinese level • 3+ years of experience in mobile app an/or gaming localization • Social media savvy. Know and understand how to create traction on social media platforms (Tiktok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram VK) • Experience in content creation apps for video/image editing and publishing strategies. • Strong writing and communication skills • Well versed in local news, hot/sensitive topics as well as youth culture and popular trends.
