I have a college degree in Scientific-Literary Translation of English; graduated in 2016 with an Honor Diploma from Universidad del Salvador, in Argentina. While I attended classes, I started working at a local company that services international clients in the LATAM region, acquiring several B2B good practices. I have also collaborated in some projects in Translators Without Borders. I started working as a Localization Engineer at a major LSP in July 2021. In Q4 2022, I enrolled in a Master’s degree in AV Translation at a Spanish University, currently ongoing.
Regarding specific freelancing jobs, I worked in the full localization of a game published in Q1 of 2021, Academia: School Simulator. I oversaw the Spanish version of the game (Latin-American Variant, gender inclusive). Then, in Q3-Q4 2022, I handled the localization of another video game called Ruinarch, developed by a company related to Academia's Studio. Both localizations were for Spanish Latin-America and included some in-game QA of the text. I believe I was able to collaborate successfully with the dev team and learned a lot from them..
