In order to meet the translation needs of our international clients, we are currently looking to expand our database of freelance linguists who translates: From Chinese into Thai in the following fields/specializations: • Information Technology-Software-UI • Information Technology-Software-User Manuals/General Job Description In this job, you will collaborate with our Project Managers to work and complete translation and MTPE projects for the above-mentioned subject matters. Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and native level proficiency in Thai. • Specialized in Information Technology-Software-UI/User Manuals translation. • Able to use CAT tools. • MUST having experience in Machine Translation Post Editing. • Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar. • Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines. • Minimum weekly output: 15,000 words. Candidates MUST also have any ONE of the following: • A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education; • 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; • 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or • A certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body.
