Job Description: Freelance Translator Location: Remote Company: Level Infinite, Tencent ILC (Infinite Localization Center) Language Pairs (1-3 TEPs per pair): *CHS - CHTW / KO / JA *EN - AR / DE / ESLA / FR / TR / PTBR *KO - CHTW / EN / JA Responsibilities ●Translation Tasks: Translate in-game text, dialogues, manuals, and other content from the source language to the target language, ensuring accuracy and fluency. ●Cultural Adaptation: Understand the cultural background of the target market to ensure translations are not only linguistically accurate but also resonate with local players' cultural habits. Requirement: ●Experience: Minimum of 2 years of gaming-related translation experience or 4 years in other fields, with over 500,000 words translated in gaming. ●Output: Average daily output of 3,000+ words. ●Translation Tools: Proficient in translation software; familiarity with Crowdin is a plus. ●Gaming Knowledge: Strong understanding of game genres and mechanics, including knowledge of game lore and character development.
