As a Localization Translator, you'll play a vital role in translating UI strings displayed or interacted with within the vehicle's electronic system. Your work will ensure seamless navigation and engagement for users from diverse linguistic backgrounds, enhancing their driving experience and expanding our global market reach. Responsibilities: 1. Provide high-quality translation, review, and QA services from the source language into the target language. 2. Conduct thorough research on background knowledge, closely follow instructions, and raise valid queries during the translation process. 3. Deliver output meeting PM requirements and avoiding basic mistakes. 4. Implement feedback effectively. Requirements: 1. Minimum one year of translation experience, with proven expertise in automotive in-car system UI. Experience with other automotive documents (e.g., user manuals, technical documents) is advantageous. 2. Proficiency in English and a degree in a translation-related major, or certification from a global organization such as IELTS, TOEFL, or TOEIC, etc. 3. Proficiency in Trados and willingness to use GienTech's translation system. Familiarity with linguistic and cultural customs of the target language country. 4. Curious, quick learner, and detail-oriented. 5. Demonstrate high responsiveness and maintain quality while working within tight deadlines.
